Robert Hollan Obituary
Robert Hollan, 61, of Piscataway, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on August 27, 2026, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer.
An avid fisherman, Rob's favorite moments were spent with his wife, children, and granddaughter at his summer home on Lake Hopatcong. Rob worked for 40 years for Cablevision and was a dedicated provider for his family. He was also a longtime baseball coach and Rutgers safety officer for the Piscataway Little League, where he coached hundreds of Piscataway's youth over the past several decades. Additionally, Rob loved to garden and stayed active keeping his yard and pool in pristine condition.
He was predeceased by his mother, Helen Hollan; his father, Bernard Hollan; his brother, David Hollan; his daughter, Jessica Dussault; and his son, Matthew Hollan. He leaves behind his wife, Elizabeth Hollan; his son, Ryan Hollan and his wife, Ashley; his granddaughter, Sofia Hollan; his son, Connor Hollan; his brothers, Bernie Hollan, Tom Hollan, and Brian Hollan; and his sister, Andrea Cerwinski.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Sheenan Funeral Home on Saturday, September 5, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
